DIVO de Pont de Brion
Dark red in colour, with aromas of red fruits and liquorice. A wine full of spices with a peppery side. The pure expression of a Petit Verdot combined with the roundness of the barrel. An explosive wine.
Manual harvesting, selective de-stemming and light crushing, fermentation in 400-litre French oak barrels with daily manual treading, then long traditional maceration. Aged in the same barrel for 12 months.
Bottled without filtration after light fining during the winter.
